This past week has been really stressful. It was spirit week, and I don’t know if you guys have spirit week, but it was pretty fun. Unfortunately I don’t think my class did very well (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors compete against each other). The only really awesome thing that happened was that my class beat the seniors and juniors at tug-o-war, which is just…very unexpected and awesome.
There was quite a bit of screaming involved and my throat really hurts. Hurts as in swollen and covered in post-nasal drip. I’m not sure if its from the screaming or whether I have a cold, but its unpleasant. I also had a long cry over an essay last night and I feel worn out from that. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
As I speak, my computer is encoding the last youtube video tutorial. I made one for all the photoshop tutorials, so its gonna be pretty sweet when I put up links and stuff on the tutorial page. I’m not sure how I’ll organize it. I was thinking a picture of a camera next to the link, so you can click the camera for the video, but that’d look cheesy. Maybe I’ll embed the tutorials on the written guide pages. If you have any ideas about what I should do, let me know :3
To my affiliates, I haven’t been visiting very much and I feel bad. However, I do have a ton of big projects to do for school. I will make up for my absence when I have the time. Sorry. :/
edit; I added links to the video tutorials to all the photoshop tutorial pages. Check it out. http://figmint.zzl.org/resources/index.php#t
Since my new laptop is intel instead of powerpc, or whatever, I have been able to install snow leopard, the lastest mac operating system on my computer. Photoshop is a bit slower than before, which stinks, but it’s more than I deserve—It isn’t even supposed to run on an intel.
Anyway, as the title mentions, video tutorials! I can screen record with Quicktime Player on my computer, so I’ll be able to make tons! I think I’ll make written and recorded versions of all my tutorials. Also, if you have any ideas for new ones, let me know. : D
So you can stop posting your sympathy and stuffs, because the problem is solved. Yesterday the UPS man gave me a white MacBook. It was about $350 used, though its in great condition. When you turn the screen off there are ugly blotches along the side, but they are invisible otherwise. On the corner there is a little crack, but it’s sealed and tiny. And to my delight this computer can actually run flash things, so I can enjoy that until HTML5 phases it out. x3
I’ll provide a picture in the near future.
Hello Windloaf The First!
Ah…Istenshire II…I’m sorry old feller, but you’ve been retired. :| (Yes, I actually feel guilty about it.)
