how to use this layout
Hello, thanks for using a layout from
figmint! ;D To better understand how to use this layout, I'd recommend you read the information below. Curly braces in the code snippets below represent carats.
README
Content Boxes:
You are permitted to create as many additional content boxes as you like! Just copy the code and paste it in after the code for the last one in the desired column. The code for a content box is as follows:
{div class="COLOR"}
Put your content here.
{/div}
The boxes come in five different colors; slate, teal, grey, charcoal, and green. Replace the world COLOR in the code above with one of those five colors.
Headers and subheaders:
Create as many as you want! They will match the color of the box they are in.
To create a main header: {h1}title{/h1}
To create a subheader: {h2}subtitle{/h1}
To make part of your main header underlined, as currently shown, put bold tags around the desired section:
{h1}{b}The{/b} first word in this title is underlined.{/h1}
Navigation Links:
Right now, the links work as anchors that lead to the different sections within this page. Feel free to change the links to lead to other pages by changing
{a href="#sectionX"...}
with
{a href="your url of choice"}
If you'd like to better understand how anchors work, search around. There are plenty of good guides. If you have further questions, let me know, either through my site (~cooklus) or via neomail (kubummer).
the bat and the weasel
A Bat who fell upon the ground and was caught by a Weasel pleaded to be spared his life. The Weasel refused, saying that he was by nature the enemy of all birds. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, but a mouse, and thus was set free. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell to the ground and was caught by another Weasel,whom he likewise entreated not to eat him. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, but a bat, and thus a second time escaped.
moral
It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.
the fox and the monkey
A Monkey once danced in an assembly of the Beasts, and so pleased them all by his performance that they elected him their King. A Fox, envying him the honor, discovered a piece of meat lying in a trap, and leading the Monkey to the place where it was, said that she had found a store, but had not used it, she had kept it for him as treasure trove of his kingdom, and counseled him to lay hold of it. The Monkey approached carelessly and was caught in the trap; and on his accusing the Fox of purposely leading him into the snare, she replied, "Oh Monkey, and are you, with such a mind as yours, going to be King over the Beasts?"
